Spinal and epidural anesthesia is achieved via a single puncture. The simple package configuration and reliable anesthestic effects are perfect for clinicians beginning to perform CSEA.

The basic package contains:

Epidural needle

The thick, firm wings and antislip grooves detect puncture reliably, while the inner side of the bevel heel is specially treated to avoid catheter damage.

Spinal anesthesia needle

The optimal design and location of the back eye on the epidural needle ensure easy passage of the spinal needle (registered as a Practical New Idea with the Japan Patent Office). The spinal anesthetic needle allows a straight approach to the subarachnoid space, facilitating puncture.

Catheter

Our polyurethane catheter has excellent compatibility with the human body. The material provides ideal insertion resistance and softens when warmed by body heat, thus reducing injury to tissues and atypical blood vessels. The coil inserted in the connecting end of the catheter prevents occlusion and ensures firm fixation at the same time, thus reducing the disconnection risk.

Connector

LOR syringe

The connector attaches to a LOR syringe designed exclusively for the loss-of-resistance method. Performance is equivalent to that of a glass syringe.

Membrane filter

A hydrophobic filter 0.2 μm wide prevents foreign objects from entering the body.
