History
The prototype of the K3 lancet point (alias Quincke needle) was developed by Dr. Quincke in Germany in 1914 as spinal anesthesia needle.
It features a short bevel with secondary side bevels.
The stylet assures an appropriate resistance and the short bevel minimizes the risk of nerve puncture.
